House rules

• Aces count 1, cards 2 to 9 count face value, and 10, J, Q, K count 0. A hand's total is the last digit of the sum.
• Each side gets two cards. A total of 8 or 9 is a "natural" and ends the round. The nearest total to 9 wins.
• Third cards are drawn automatically by the standard baccarat rules.
• Player pays 1 to 1. Banker pays 0.95 to 1 (the casino takes a 5% commission, rounded down). Tie pays 8 to 1.
• If you bet Player or Banker and the round ties, your bet is returned.
• Cards are drawn from a shoe that is treated as endless, so every card always has the same chance.
• While you owe money, the profit from a win goes to the bank first. If you leave mid-round, the result is already saved.
